A good group of plants with a wide range of scents/flowers/leaf form/and general habit. But some and enjoy all their assets.

Abundance Crinkly lemon-scented leaf on an upright plant. Simple white flowers with dark feathers on the top petals. A real cracker!

Atomic Snowflake (USA) Variegated form of Snowflake. Spiralling habit. Can look good. Mauve flower, some say pungent scent.

Attar of Rose (1900) Rose type of scent with small mauve flower. Can be used in baking. (A.G.M.)

Blandfordianum Upright habit with grey/green leaf. Small white flower.

Brunswick Large red flower on a large plant: deep cut leaf.

Candy Dancer Medium size plant, lemon scent. Light mauve flower, deep cut leaf. (A.G.M.)

Carl Gaffney Deeply cut leaf with frilly edge. Small deep lilac flower. Can make a large plant

Charity (U.S.A. c1990) Variegated leaf on a compact plant. Mauve flower, orange scent.

Chocolate Peppermint (Viva Ireland - USA) Large blotch on dark leaf. Slight peppermint scent NOT chocolate scent. Small mauve flower. Giant Oak cross.

Citriodorum (Queen of Lemons c1700) Strong lemon scent with mauve flower.

Citronella Mauve flower and sharp citrus scent. Upright habit

Copthorne (Popperwell 84) Purple flowers, cedar scent.

Creamy Nutmeg (Variegated Fragrans 1979) Super plant, pretty leaf, small white flower. Nutmeg scent, some days!

Crispum Variegatum (c1800) Everyone's favourite. Requires dry air. Mauve flower with variegated green/cream leaf. Lemon scent.

Deans Delight Very dark leaf, deeply cut. Compact grower with pale lilac flowers.

Deerwood Lavender Lad (Brawner) Lovely scent on a trailing plant with small purple flower, greyish leaf. Species cross.

Fair Ellen Old cultivar with dark marking on a dark green leaf. Good mauve flower.

Filicifolium Fern type leaf, balsam type sCent. Small flower, popular with flower arrangers.

Fragrans (c1800) Good growth with small white flower. Pine scent. Trim fairly hard to keep shape.

Frensham (Modern Nurseries) Mauve flower on a fairly compact plant. Citrus scent.

Fringed Apple Grey/green leaf, small white flower, apple type scent.

Golden Clorinda (G. Scheidt) Rose pink flower on a strong growing plant.

Grace Thomas (R. Thomas '96) Good large plant, pointed grey/green leaf. Pale mauve flower, citrus scent. (AGM '96)

Graveolens Deep cut leaf, lemon scent, mauve flower.

Grey Lady Plymouth Fairly upright growth. Nice grey leaf and pink flower. Rose scent can turn to peppermint.

Isobel Eden Compact growth. Grey-green deep cut leaf. Spicy scent. White flower

Lady Plymouth (Early 1800) Fairly compact but can make super large plant. Variegated leaf, small pale mauve flower and minVrose scent. From Graveolens. (AGM)

Lara Aladdin (Blackman) White flower with a small purple/rose blotch on top petals.

Lara Nomad (Blackman) White flower, rough leaf with strong lemon scent.

Lemon Fancy Strong lemon scent with lavender flowers. Rough serrated leaf.

Lilian Pottinger (Pottinger 1970) Super plant. Small white flower. Scent apple/spicy. Compact growth, has Fragrans as one of its parents. Good basket plant.

Little Gem (Early 1800s) Can be seen as Graveolens Minor. Small mauve flower. Scent rose/lemon, can vary. Compact.

Mabel Grey (P.citronullum) Old favourite. Large lemon-scented leaf. Lavender flower. Strong grower. (AGM)

Madam Nonin Sport of Patons Unique. Pretty red/pink flower, white eye.

Marie Thomas (R. Thomas) Basket plant with small mauve flower. Super.

Nervous Mabel (Australia) Crispum type. Small mauve flower. Upright habit, lemon scent. (Joyce Ritchie) (AGM)

Old Spice Round leaf, small white flower. Spicy smell Compact plant. (Logee USA)

Orange Fizz Slight citrus scent. Pinky/purple flower. Stong-growing plant.

Orsett (Popperwell '94) Large reddy/purple flower. Good looking plant. Upright growth.

P.crispum (1767) Small crinkley lemon-scented leaves. One of the Angel parents. Mauve flower. Likes gritty compost

P.odoratissimum (c1786) The big one. Super peppermint-scented leaf, white flower. Large flannel leaves. Keep in shade.

Peppermint Lace Fairly tall plant. Deep-cut grey/green leaf. White bloom, perppermint scent.

Peters Luck (P. Godwin) Citrus scent from mediuml1arge leaf. Strong-growing plant Large mauve flowers, small maroon spots on top petals. Has Mabel Grey in its parentage. Looks good. (AGM)

Pretty Polly Reddy/pink flower. Deeply-cut leaf. Some say almond scent.

Prince of Orange (listed c1880) Super plant. Purple flower. One of the Angel parents. Orange type scent

Prosperity Slight pungent scent. Pink flower. Good strong-growing plant. Upright habit

Radula Strong fern-like leaf. Light purple flower; rose/lemon scent

Roger's Delight Regal cross, large flower, red and pink. Citrus scent

Royal Oak Large plant Mauve flower, dar1< blotch on oak-shaped leaf. Slight scent

Secret Love Rose type scent with small lavender flower. Deep-cut leaf.

Snowflake Fairly large plant White blotch on leaves. Mauve flowers and slight rose scent

Torento Nice plant with small round leaf. Pale lilac flower said to be ginger-scented if leaf is crushed.

Village Hill Oak (Brigham) Oak leaf. Pinky/mauve flower. Dar1< leaf with dark blotch.

Welling (Popperwell 94) Red flowered plant

Wild Spice (Hansons U.S.A.) Pink/lilac Angel type flower. Scent is spicy.
